size?

While using a Numbers spreadsheet say at a particular size it will suddenly shrink to very much smaller. Can I lock in the size I want to use?

HI Haggis,

I suspect you are accidentally changing the zoom setting of your page view, most likely with an unintended gesture on the trackpad or a magic mouse.

I'd suggest locking the table, bt doing so has two disadvantages: It does not lock the scale of the display (which is what changes when the zoom setting is changed), but it does remove the ability to make changes in the table itself (until the table is unlocked).

The zoom setting can't be locked, but is easily set back to your usual size with the menu beside the View button at the left end of the tool bar.

Regards,

Barry

Thank you for your help. I may well have been changing the zoom size inadvertently and will check into this. I don't want to lock the table given the disadvantages you mention. I am just a bit irritated having to go back to the menu to get things to where I want them. I will wait to see what happens and be more carefull with the mouse.

Again my thanks.
