Apple Pencil Charging

Hi, I recently just bought an Ipad 9 with the apple pencil. I found that my apple pen charge speed is slow and it is not like what the adverstiment said take around 15-30minutes. I have to charge my pen for 1 hour and 30 minutes to make the battery by using using the 20W charger. Is it my apple pencil problem?

You Pencil will charge at its fastest when connected directly to the Lightning port of your iPad.

Whilst counterintuitive, the Pencil will charge much more slowly if connected directly to your Power Adapter using the coupler/adapter supplied in the box with your Pencil.

Maybe.

You may need to search online for your nearest, “local” Apple store location and call contact phone numbers and call to make an appointment to have your Pencil diagnosed and options presented you.

Failing that,

You need to contact Apple support via the contact support link located at the upper right hand corner of every Webpage of these Apple support communities.

Actually, you appear to be wrong on this matter.

I find my own Pencil charges faster with the charging adapter and the Apple 18 or 20W charging adapter block than when connected to my iPad Pro.

The iPad is fine for quick, short charges or topping off the Pencil, but is much slower full charging from my iPad.

The charging adapter/charging/power adapter block is much faster.
