Performance drop with Monterey 12.0.1 update

Hi,

Did anyone of you experience in drop of performance of your MacBook Pro after update of OS to Monterey 12.0.1? How can we improve the performance of our MacBook if we experience lagging?

Im using a MacBook Pro 13-inch 2020, Processor 1.4 Ghz Quad Core Intel Core i5, 16GB 2133 Mhz Memory.

Previously with OS Big Sur I do not have lagging issue after I open up my Interactive Broker TWS software with my Trading Scanner Software.

The Monterey update just happened on my Mac Mini about an hour ago, and the whole system is VERY much slowed down. It's acting as if it's running in the debugger -- every action drags a bit more. Opening a folder for the first time takes about 8-10 seconds.

Opening XCode just now, it's been starting for about 45 seconds, and just now the welcome page came up.

Definitely wait to take this update
