I have a ton of music connected to an old Apple ID, but I don't have the old password and I don't have access to the email connected to that ID (I switched from Yahoo to Gmail). This music was bought on iTunes. I have contacted Apple customer support, but it seems there's nothing that can be done. This is a big bummer as I wasted a lot of money buying music from Apple.

See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option.
If you can recover the password, do a name change to a current email address. Note the restrictions in the article.

Then try setting up Family Sharing between the IDs so you can access your music.
