Labels/titles under apps and shortcuts

HOW TO CHANGE APP TITLES FROM DARK TO LIGHT

Hi all — new iPad — all going well except names under downloaded apps and website shortcuts are in black.

I want titles to be white, so I can use a simple darker wallpaper on Home Screen and get better contrast…used to have white (or colourless reverse) on previous iPad…have looked through Settings, but can’t find easy way to make this simple change to app/shortcut titles…..

Any hints out there? Where do I look ? small screenshot attached:

We understand you're looking for guidance on available options to increase the contrast, or make content on your iPad easier to see. Have you tried Dark Mode? Use Dark Mode on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
