Right now as far as I can tell the Apple Gift Card is available in the USA, Canada and Australia.

*Until recently this used to say: "In the United States, you can use your Apple ID balance to buy products and accessories at apple.com or in the Apple Store app." Now Apple is just making it more confusing by saying you can use it where the Apple Gift Card is available but not having a list of countries. Oh, and that's "Apple Gift Card", not "Apple gift card" which could be confused with something such as an iTunes gift card.

Click here and search for 'Apple Gift Card'; as of now, it's also available in Japan.
