I have an iPhone 11 with the iOS 15.1 update that includes focus. When I have the focus set to driving I do not receive texts, but it is also NOT sending an auto reply text. I’m certain the setting are correct.

Late to the post but I was having the same issue with mine. I just fixed it by going into Settings > Messages > Allow Messages to Access and switching the Focus toggle on. I tested it by sending a quick iMessage to myself in Driving Focus mode and it seems to work now; configured auto replies now send and the Focus Status now shows in the conversation too. Hope that helps for you! :]
Keep in mind it will only reply to people that are listed in your contacts or favorites depending on what you have selected.
Take the time to report your findings to Apple using their feedback link. It provides you the ability to provide feedback about product uses, but also one of the selections is bug report. Go to Product Feedback - Apple
I had this issues as well I tired everything then read someone’s comment about going to settings then messages and at the top make sure your focus is turned on. 😉 Works like a charm. Make sure you also have it set to share to all devices in focus.
I have iPhone 12 Pro Max. None of the suggestions have helped

I did the same above response setting >messages> toggle focus on
and used my friend’s phone and it now shows that.
I'm at a loss. I hate to say it, but. Since nothing seems to fix your continuing problem. Maybe a complete reset of your iPhone is needed? I really don't know.
Having the same issue but only on my work device which is an old iPhone 8 running 15.1 overdue for upgrade. My auto reply works fine on my 13. This is an bug that needs to be identified and flushed though.
You are a lifesaver. My wife was using autoreply to deal with her employees who are constantly texting her work phone on her weekends off, and it stopped working when her phone updated to iOS 15. They have been driving her nuts. I checked all of Apples troubleshooting guides in their repair site (I work for an authorized repair center) and couldn't find this anywhere. Why would they even set it up this way to begin with? Super frustrating!
All of these suggestions do not work on my iOS 16 iPhone 12 Pro. I have deleted the "focus" multiple times and re-added it and all other settings. Sometimes, it will work for one or even two messages and then stops working again, only to have to start the troubleshooting all over again with the same results. Is there anyone out there that has found a solution or even using a third party app that could solve this issue and once again allow auto-reply text messages?

Yes, that is selected correctly. It isn’t being sent from my phone and those selected to receive are not getting it.
