iPhone 11 Max Pro won’t turn off

My 11Max Pro won’t turn off, the screen is frozen and I can’t open any apps. *I RESOLVED MY ISSUE BY FOLLOWING jonesaustin RECOMMENDATIONS BELOW* Quickly push the up volume, then down volume (do it quickly-that’s the key), then hold in the power button until the “power off” slide appears. WORKED!
