Open links from an app in their relevant app by default

Recently switched to an iPhone 13 pro from android and I’m having a few issues with default app behaviour.

If I open a Reddit or YouTube link from safari, it will open in the relevant app by default which is good.

However if I open a Reddit or YouTube link from another app such as

WhatsApp or discord, it will open up in a preview rather than the app

itself.

YouTube gives me the ‘Open app’ button, but I’d rather just skip that

and use the app by default. For Reddit there isn’t an option like that.

Is there a way I can just tell iOS to open all Reddit/YouTube links in

the app by default? In safari I have held the link and clicked ‘Open in

in “YouTube”’ but that only applies to safari
