Macbook Pro (A2442) MagSafe power Cable Product Defect

Recently I've purchased a new Macbook Pro, the item arrived at Nov 22, however after two days of usage I realized there is something struck between the magsafe connector and the insulation layer as shown in the picture below.


I'm quite worried about the potential degradation of product lifetime and electronic failure regarding the future usage, also disappointed by the quality control, wondering what options do I have in terms of this power cable?
