Bold, italics, underline option

Bold, italics, underline option: The B.I.U. Option does not appear to be available on my iPhone 12. How can I get it?

What app are you working in where you are expecting to see this option? I just tested in my Mail app and have no trouble getting it to come up. I will test with the app you are experiencing a problem with if I have it once you identify it.

I don't have the time right now to test contacts and Messaging, but here is the email I tested before.

I would like to be able to underline some words and or phrases in my contacts, email and messenging. When I tap the arrows either left or right the option to include B/I/U is simply not there.
