Remove apps from an old Apple ID on a new iPad with new Apple ID.

Purchased a new iPad mini and transferred the existing Apple ID from the previous one. The iPad is asking for the password of an old Apple ID that is no longer in use, how do I get rid of the pop-up. It will not cancel, and I don’t have the password nor can it be reset. I don’t have access to that email account for the reset option.

Apps purchased under any other AppleID will need to be deleted and re-purchased using the new AppleID. Purchases cannot be transferred from one AppleID to another.

This is why it’s always better to simply change an AppleID primary password as needed (as old emails get dropped and you move to a new email service, you simply edit the email used with an AppleID), versus making a new AppleID.
