Can I trade in carrier locked phone with trade in program? Its very difficult to buy a new with trade in program and later found that the phone will not be accepted. Can someone put some light on this as I dont find any FAQ on this topic.

Yes. You can trade-in a carrier locked iPhone. Note that you will still be responsible for any remaining payment balance on that iPhone.
