Do the LaCie terminal command instructions still work? Will it work for Monterey OS on a 2020 M1 Mac mini to mirror a pair of WD elements 6 TB 3.5” external HDDs connected to the USB-C ports? Will Time Machine recognize these and successfully back up to them?

Thanks a bunch. I don't yet have my new M1 Mac mini but this is most helpful. I can even see this on my current (mid) 2011 iMac running High Sierra (10.13.6).
