I’m trying to do a screen recording and I can’t get anything past screen mirroring and I can’t get rid of it. All the help article say how to engage it but they don’t say how to disable it.

Thank you, but that's not one of the choices. This is the problem. I'm looking to get rid of it entirely or stop it at the base.
Where does this setting live so I can disable it there?
