Why are my texts messages going out green?

As you know, Blue Bubble indicates iMessages and Green Bubble indicates SMS Messages. An iMessage (Blue Bubble) can only be exchanged between two Apple Devices that have iMessages successfully activated. The rest of the combinations such as exchanging text messages with non-Apple devices (Android based for example) use SMS Messages (Green Bubble).

If you are using an iPhone with successfully activated iMessages AND so is the receiving person, then you should be seeing a Blue Bubble. Is this happening to ALL of your outgoing texts regardless of the receiving device? If this is the case then check your iMessages setup in the Settings app under Messages.
