AirPods No Sound in right

My AirPods have no sound in my right ear. I have gone in to settings selected ‘forget device’ and then paired again several times. Sometimes this will result in sound coming through both AirPods but recently I only get sound out of the left AirPods. They are 1st Generation but they are not used a lot. What can I do?
