Default Transitions Missing in FCPX
I started editing a video today and realized there's a bunch of the fundamental default FCPX transitions missing, like the crossfade and fade to black. I kinda need those lol. What happened?

Check the Dissolves category.
Of there’s nothing there I suspect you have Chrome installed, and it has damaged the software.
See https://chromeisbad.com/ for details. You might have to reinstall the application from the App Store or a backup that’s working.
If you have Chrome it is probably only a matter of time before they disappear again.
Uninstall Chrome and especially its keystone daemons if you want to be able to use professional video applications on your mac.
I updated MacOS and all of my FCPX plugins and I got them back, we'll see if they're gonna disappear again.
