Whenever I set up a contact photo in the Share Name and Photo setting, and then leave the setting and come back to it, the contact photo disappears. I don't know why that keeps happening. I tried powering off my phone and powering it back on, but that didn't fix it. Below is a gif of the glitch that I'm talking about. Anybody know how to fix this glitch?

It appears that your photo isn't staying set in Settings > Messages > Share Name and Photo after you leave that screen. You've taken a great step by restarting. You can also make sure that your iPhone 11 is fully updated to see if that might help:
