If I buy an Apple Watch se series for my father who does not have an iPhone and I pair it with my iPhone which will not be close to my father will the gps version still ring emergency services/myself using the fall detection if he falls and cannot respond or do we need cellular?
If you can't have the phone at least in bluetooth range of the watch then you would need the cellular version of the watch.
