Move to iOS not working even after heavy effort.

Devices: Pixel 3 XL on Android 12 transfer to iPhone 13 mini on 15.1.1

I followed all Apple suggested steps as well as the steps in the following Reddit thread.

On the Pixel I have

A fresh move to iOS install no cashe

Its the only app running

All adaptive options turned off ie. networking, permissions, and battery

Screen is set to not turn off

Move to iOS is only app running.

Steps followed:

Fresh install of 15.1.1 on iPhone then erase.

Setup from LTE manually

Got to transfer from Android option

After entering the code I disconnected from network and reconnect manually

This allows the connect anyway for the lack of internet

Both phones are plugged in

The preparing messages takes 3 hours for 4Gb of data

App crashes every time the transfer begins.

Rumors are this is a iOS 15 update issue related to maintaining the adhoc network?

I periodically monitor that the network is being broadcast by using my laptop. And it drops right when the transfer begins with the message "a transfer error has occurred". 3 Hours is too long to tap on the iPhone screen to be sure its on when the transfer starts... if this is the issue...
