Garageband is speeding up any imported files

After updating my macbook and itunes file I put into garageband is spend up, it goes from a 4 minute song on itunes to a 30 second song in garageband.

I have tried adjusting the tempo, i also have tried plenty of other itunes file both downloaded files and files bought off of itunes it does it to any song i put in there.

Ive called apple care and they are also don't know what to do if anyone has any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated as i need to be able to cut and mix music to make an income.

My macbook is version 10.15.7

and my garageband is version 10.2.0
