i forgot my passcode to my phone and the phone got disabled. i have tried to fix it by using the recovery mode. it however shows the recovery mode but fails to show the passcode page. thank you.

That is not how it works. Once you connect to the computer, you are going to have to restore the iPhone. See the instructions here, If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support
