Kindle App on iPad - white screen

My kindle app is not working on my iPad. When I click on it, it just goes to a white screen with a spinning wheel in the middle. I’ve tried leaving it open for over 30 minutes - no change.


I’ve tried swiping out and restarting the app, restarting the iPad, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I’ve tried all of these numerous times. I’ve also tried to turn wifi on and off.


It has been like this for about a month. Please help.
