Is there a way I can stop a particular member from my family sharing from sharing purchases

So basically I added a friend to my family sharing just for the purpose of sharing the apple music family plan; the problem is that whenever my friend makes a purchase, I’m the one who pays the fee. So, I want to ask if theres a way to stop the issue since it’s really frustrating. Would really appreciate it if I get a helpful solution to it. Thanks!
