Revert back to original operating system.

I have an M1 chip MacBook Pro.

It came with Big Sur.

I have updated to Monterey.

Is there anyway to revert back to the original operating system my Mac came with from the recovery mode/utilities without losing any files etc.

Thanks

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 12.0

No— this process you will lose all user data— unless you have a backup

The process would be the same as here—

Revert your Mac to a previous macOS version
