Child’s iCloud is full but rest of family’s is not

My child constantly complains that her iCloud storage is full regardless of the fact that she has deleted many videos and pictures from her phone. She also has an iPhone 12 which is newer than the rest of the family’s phones. What should she do?

It's entirely possible that her free 5GB is full. She can upgrade her iCloud storage (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201318), or your family may benefit from setting up family share (https://www.apple.com/family-sharing/).
