I watch with cellular
Do you have to purchase a separate data plan/ sim to use the cellular on the I watch?
Because I always have my iPhone with me, I have been very happy the past 3 years with the GPS only Series 4. I frequently answer the phone on my Apple Watch, instead of pulling my iPhone from my pocket, or as just this morning, the iPhone was on my nightstand, and I was across the room, so I just answered the call on my Apple Watch.
I get 50-60 feet (15-18 meters) maximum distance from my iPhone, and this will include 1 or 2 interior walls or maybe a floor of house. But If I am next to the Microwave oven, and it is heating up water for my tea, Bluetooth audio gets wonky within 3 feet (a meter) of the running Microwave.
