I see multiple sources on how to turn off tab tinting in Safari 15.1 Preferences.
I do NOT have any such option, neither in Compact nor in Separate setting. How can I stop the color bleed?

In Safari's Preferences -> Advanced there's Show color in Compact Tab Bar. Turn it off to disable the tab bar's coloring.
That option works only when Compact is chosen is Safari's Preferences -> Tabs -> Tab layout.
Thank you, I always had that off. I tried turning it on then back off but no change either way, like that setting is dead.
Do I have a glitch in my Safari? Ran all updates within Big Sur.

It no longer changes color with Compact view but still bleeds through on some bright-colored sites.
Annoying but accept partial solution.
