Certain notifications (social media) won’t alert me with sound or vibration on my Apple Watch or phone but will do it for everything else. For example if I get a message on twitter my apple watch or iPhone I’ll get the ring or vibrate notification whatever I have it set on. But if I have push notifications on someone page & they notify me whenever they post something I’ll get the notification on my phone or Apple Watch but it won’t ring or vibrate if that makes sense. I recently got a new iPhone 13 & also updated to 15.1 & my Apple Watch is up to date also

We're glad you thought to ask Apple Support Communities about the issue you're having with receiving notifications from certain apps. Check to make sure the notification settings are correct and what you're wanting, for those apps. Those steps can be found under "Manage notifications" here: Notifications on your Apple Watch

If the behavior continues, also check the information under "If you don't see notifications on your Apple Watch" at the bottom of that page. Let us know how it goes.
