Hi! My new 24" iMac speakers sounded reasonable (not fantastic but passable) while i was playing music through it but when i connected external speakers via bluetooth, it sounded horrible - weak, tiny, and even with EQ adjusted, i could barely hear the sound and it was definitekly lacking in any sort of bass even with EQ set to bass. Is this normal? Thanks!
I've played the same music from my iPhone/iPad to the speaker and the bass was there so... could there be another explanation for it?
Without testing several different sets of Bluetooth speakers it’s difficult to say whether it is an iMac issue or just the speakers.
Well no that's not "normal", but you may have gotten a bad set of speakers. I'd tend to believe the higher cost Mac to be performing properly and the speakers just being poor quality.
