I am the organizer for our shared Apple ID family. When “ask to buy” is turned on the notification will go to my wife if she is designated parent/guardian but there is no way to set me as parent. The only role available to me is “organizer” and I never get the notification requests to approve app installs. My wife doesn’t want to be bothered with this. How can I set myself as parent?

Organizer receives requests by default, but another parent or guardian can be assigned permission.
I do not receive the notifications. If my wife is set to parent she receives the notice. If she is set to adult nobody gets the notification.
Ahh I just saw that notifications is turned off for App Store on my phone. That is probably the issue…
