my good old iPad does not work anymore. I tried to restore it via my Mac but I get the Error 4045.
Does anyone know this error or knows what to do to fix it? I didn't find anything about this.

Thanks ado_apple for the add. advice, but it also did not work.
I tried again another step mentions in the list of procedures yesterday to plug in the iPad and restart the Mac.
The error message now changed from error 4045 to Error (9). 065B.0000
I don't know if this specifies my problem further.
Thanks for your advice. Unfortunately none of the described solutions help. The iPad seems to be in recovery mode without any information shown on the display. It is and stays black. In Finder I get asked if I want to restore the iPad but after a while I get that unknown error 4045.
