My iPhone is stuck on an app and won't let me swipe up or do anything on it. It won't let me power it off or even go on settings to restart it. How can I fix this? Its happened before but I don't know how it went away and it was completely fine earlier with no problems.

Press and quickly release the volume up button, press and quickly release the volume down button, then press and hold the side button.
Only When the Apple logo appears, release the button (it might take 15-30 seconds, and ignore ALL other screens that appear).

I have tried. It let me to an emergency call which I didnt need to call them it won't even show the power off sign.
