How to make Siri's voice on the HomePod mini louder?

Hi, finale got my set. Apple Holland decided not to sell them in Holland, Belgium and Luxemburg. So were stuck with a English Siri :-) And NO help fromApple Holland :-(

I have a problem with Siri, she/he speaks so soft that I nearly have tp put my ear on the speakers yo hear her/him. When I put the sound up, only the music will go louder, not Siri? You happend to know how I get the volume of the Siri voice higher? Would be grateful :-)

Hello peppespizza,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

If we understand your post correctly, you want to know how to get the volume for Siri to be louder on your HomePod mini. We'd like to help1

The article you came from, Set up and use HomePod, was a good start but didn't provide the information you were looking for.

"Use Siri on HomePod

From playing music to controlling your home, your voice is Siri's command on HomePod. And, you don't need your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to be present to use Siri to play music, control your home, or to ask questions. Just say "Hey Siri," then make your request.

To learn some basic things you can ask, say "Hey Siri, what can you do?" Discover more things you can ask Siri."

This article will provide some more information about Siri and your HomePod: How to change Siri volume

Specifically, the section below.

"Change Siri's volume on your HomePod

You can ask Siri to speak louder, quieter, or at a specific volume. Say "Hey Siri," then say something like:

  • "Speak louder."
  • "Always speak quieter."
  • "Set your volume to sixty percent."

HomePod automatically adjusts Siri's response volume based on the level of noise in the room, your distance from HomePod, and how loudly you're speaking to Siri. You can turn automatic volume on or off by saying, "Hey Siri, turn on automatic Siri volume," or "Hey Siri, turn off automatic Siri volume."

thanks again for the great help! I can enjoy the speakers much more now.

altough i still think it is weird that apple products that are sold all over the world cant be bought in Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg?

We, apple fans, had to wait 6 years for a Dutch speaking Siri on all apple equipment. And now we learn that the homepods will never be sold in our part of the world.

I have nothing against Apple Holland! They are always there for you, with all the help you need. They give exelent service. But soon when the word "homepod" is mentioned they close up like a shell. I dont understand why. Because i think that my English is not that bad, but apperently in many cases not good enough for a English speaking Siri.

I think it's a pitty because i really like all my apple stuff.

Anyway, thank you all for all the help. Im enjoying my homepod mini's!
