ADDING a Contact QR code for the apple wallet.

Here in my country. If I want to enter a mall. There's the thing called Tracking ID, Wherein the information of the person is stored on a QR CODE. Upon presentation on the scanner. It displays the information of the customer. And it tells that this is my contact information. Since it's a hassle to carry an ID whenever I go out. How can I add the QR CODE on my APPLE WALLET?

Apple wallet opens when scanning QR codes at access terminals. So the building I love two modes of access one using an access card the other is using a QR code. (Code displayed on my phone and the terminal scans it) When I bring the phone up to the terminal to scan the code it opens up the wallet app to bank cards before it could scan the code. apple wallet scan qr Apple wallet seems to lack any ability to load qr's, unless there is an accompanying apple wallet button (somewhat rare). Even then, it sometimes errors out with the usual message (along the lines of "something went wrong"). I don't have any scan ability in "Add to Wallet" page in the wallet app. Apparently can just add to some pre-existing cards. I'm not sure what would add or remove scanning ability from wallet. Don't get it. Camera scan qr - I am not sure this works either, but it doesn't seem to provide a route to apple wallet. Camera has scan qr enabled. This iphone runs iOS 15.5

Adding QR Codes to Wallet With COVID, lots of places are issuing QR codes as tickets. And I would like to add them to Wallet, but they are not connected with any apps. These are just local theater and dance venues. I follwed previous link and tried going to Wallet > Edit Passes >Scan Code, but that does really work. It reads the QR code but tried to send me to google. It wouldn't just add it. I would be fine if I could just take a picture and Save to Wallet, but it doesn't let me do that. All advice is appreciated.

Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today adding a QR code to the Wallet app.

Have you spoken with the issuer to find out if the QR code is meant to go in the Apple Wallet?

If you received an email with the code, then it might have an "Add to Apple Wallet" button. Have a look here: Add, use, and share boarding passes, tickets, and other passes in Apple Wallet.
