Safari and Adobe Reader top bar not showing up due to glitch

Hello,

I bought my MacBook with M1 Max a month ago, and now there is a problem due to glitch.

Safari:

When the cursor hits the top edge of the browser in full screen mode, the hidden system toolbar is supposed to show up. However, the problem I'm having is that the bar area is still black when I do so. T

Adobe Reader:

This problem never happened on my old MacBook Pro (late 2013). Still, the top system toolbar is gone when I view it in full screen mode and I have no way to get it back (even when the cursor goes to the top edge, the toolbar remains hidden!) unless I relaunch the app and use the regular window size.

Please advise how to solve this problem as it is very annoying while working on my MacBook, and I did not expect this to happen on my $5000+ MacBook Pro.

Thank you

Hello,

Thank you for the response. This issue can be solved temporarily by restarting the computer, but it comes unexpectedly soon.

Here is my explanation again:

In Pic 1, he area circled with red is where we get the system toolbar showing up when the cursor moves up and hits the top edge in full screen mode, where the system toolbar looks like as following, in Pic 2:

In the following Pic 3, it shows the toolbar still works (I can click on the position where the Apple icon is supposed to locate) but all icons remain hidden in black.

For Adobe Reader, it is similar. But the toolbar is totally disabled and does not show when the cursor hits the top edge.

I hope this make sense.

Thank you

So no menu bar for full screen Apps...

Limited to Safari and Adobe Reader only...

You can try making a change to preferences, toggling the options and see if it registers the changes

On recommendations for general trouble shooting—

Uninstall all third party apps that are Cleaners/Optimizers/VPN/Anti-Virus

To trouble shoot further you can:

—Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc.

Login and test. Reboot as normal and test. Caches get rebuilt automatically.

In Safe mode third party system modifications and system accelerations are disabled, it removes malware, etc hampering smooth operation, however a reboot will put it back to normal mode.

This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

—Test issue in another user (or guest user) account https://support.apple.com/guide/mac-help/set-up-other-users-on-your-mac-mtusr001/mac

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.
