paid for applecare when purchasing at store, but not showing up

I purchased an iPhone SE 2020 on 11/27/21 from an Apple Store, and purchased AppleCare+ with it (have receipt), but it's not showing up as purchased on iPhone or on list of devices on iMac.

iPhone SE, iOS 14

What happens if you enter your serial number here, https://checkcoverage.apple.com Does it indicate there that you have coverage? See this link at the bottom of that particular page for help from Apple. Don’t see your AppleCare plan? Learn what to do.
