Is there a way to differentiate between iPhone from Apple or a cellular company vs buying an iPhone trac phone at target or Walmart? Like an identifier or something ?

The iPhone will look the same from each carrier. For example, the iPhone 13 at TracPhone will look the same as an unlocked iPhone 13. You are able to identify the model of an iPhone using the steps here: Identify your iPhone model - Apple Support
