Downloads Folder missing
My Downloads folder went missing after I was having trouble finding some old files? The local Documents and Desktop folders havew also disappeared from Finder.

Missing from where?
If it is missing from the Dock
The Downloads folder is located in the Users/<username> path drag it to the Docks right hand side.
If it is missing from the Sidebar in a Finder window, click once on the Desktop,
click on Finder in the menubar, click on Preferences> Sidebar and make sure the Downloads box is ticked.
The same would be for the Desktop and Documents in the Sidebar.
Or have you chosen to have your Desktop & Documents kept in iCloud.
System Preferences> iCloud> iCloud Drive> Options> Desktop & Documents.
