Unexpected shutdowns after Apple repair

My MacBook Pro (2016) unexpected shuts down after closing the lid or whenever I pick it up. This issue only started after getting it back from sending it in for a backlight issue to be repaired (by apple).

Has anyone has a similar issue and knows how to fix his or do I need to take it back in to Apple?

Take the laptop back to Apple to have them check it out and make it right. You have a 90 day part warranty (perhaps even a 90 day repair warranty depending on how the laptop was repaired).

Try and reset the settings to all defaults, and restart your laptop.
