Contacts Are Blocked
Against my better judgment, I recently got an iPhone 13 and now some of my contacts are blocked from texting me and vice versa. We do not have each other blocked on our phones. How can I correct this "feature"?

If it is specifically SMS or MMS messages contact your carrier; that is a carrier service.
If your correspondents that have the problem have iPhones make sure iMessage is set up correctly→https://support.apple.com/kb/index?page=search&type=suggested&locale=en_US&q=imessage+support&src=globalnav_support

Then the problem, which began with this phone, would be what?
I’d love to return it for a non-Apple device, but BlackBerry devices are not offered by my carrier anymore, so there’s not much of a point, is there?
Some have iPhones, some have Android devices. It just seems odd that the carrier would block them from me and me from them right when I “upgraded” to an iPhone 13. I guess I’ll have to look for my carrier’s settings then.
Your iPhone doesn’t block anything or anyone. If it was against your better judgement just return the phone.
