my Apple Pencil won't write

My Apple Pencil won't write. It's charged, I've turned bluetooth off and on again, I've turned the iPad off and on, the zoom is off, I've tried "forgetting" the Apple Pencil as a bluetooth device, and I've reset the network settings. Please help.

I had the same issue where my Pencil 2 stopped writing but stayed connected. I did all the troubleshooting like forget device, reconnect device, hard reset the iPad, turn the iPad off etc. but still the same. I finally found out that if you tighten the tip that it is almost 1/16th of an inch gap with the body of the Pencil it solves the issue. It is very important that the tip is very, very close to the body. It is threaded inside the tip so you should twist it clockwise to tighten it well. I hope this helps.
