Apple fitness lost data after factory reset and restore from back-up

i was due to drop my phone off at the Apple store to get a screen repair done and decided not to have someone looking at my pictures/emails/password etc so I did a full back up and a factory restore before dropping it off

when I did the restore from iCloud backup, everything restored perfectly apart from my Apple fitness data. I have lost 20 months worth of data, trends and awards

instead of having data dating back March 2020, it now only goes as far back as Oct 2021

any ideas on how to get my data back? It’s such an important part of my daily motivation, particularly the monthly challenges

iphone XI fully up to date

Series 3 Watch also up to date
