How long till optimised battery charging begins working.

I have had the iPhone 13 for over a week now, other that one night where I was away from home, I have had the phone on charge over night. Optimised battery charging has been turned on since I got the phone but it is still charging straight to 100% and staying there over night. I am using a MagSafe case and wireless charger.
