Since the upgrade to Monterey 12.0.1 at time files in pages and numbers will not open. The message is something like, the companion is not available. ( next time it happens I will take a photo). However if I restart the Mac book, it works ok for a while?

We see that files aren't opening as expected. To confirm, was it the entire app, or does the app open and just not the file? If the app itself doesn't want to open, we'd recommend the following steps:
