Random shut down of iPhone X after screen and battery replacement

My phone is randomly shutting down about once a day. The battery is sufficiently charged so it is not a power issue. I do not know when this happens as it only becomes apparent when I try to use the phone and the device is powered off. Is there a log in the phone where I can pull the shutoff times to see if there is any correlation between them and any other activity? It has shut off in my pocket during the day as well as on the charging stand at night, so there is not specific pattern that I can discern.
