Why does my iPhone XR do not make any sound like the notifications, incoming calls, keyboard sounds, power off sounds amongst others when I switch the silent mode it does not change

Additionally, the next time you see a notification or get a call, be sure to check immediately to see if there's a Bluetooth device connected to the phone routing the audio to that Bluetooth device instead of your iPhone. Even if you are sure that you don't have a Bluetooth device, this is still a good step to check this out. Follow the steps in "Unpair a Bluetooth accessory" in Pair a third-party Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch if there are devices that you see in Settings > Bluetooth.
If you haven't already, let's Restart your iPhone and see if the issue remains. A restart is a great step when experiencing unexpected behavior.
