Why is YouTube working on my Apple TV 4K but not any other apps such as Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, etc
Do you have a Romanian Netflix account? If not, that may be the problem. Netflix is available in Romania.
Disney+ and Hulu are not available in Romania. So, any attempts to stream them via a VPN would be a violation of the services terms of use and would not be supported.
Hmm, that doesn’t give much clues.
Can you try deleting one of these apps, then re-install and sign in again? Does that improve anything?
I am in Romania so there’s a vpn connection
Netflix says sorry we had trouble logging you in something went wrong please try again later, Hulu says the same thing, and so does Disney+. All my other apps such as YouTube, podcasts, and the music app work fine.
What happens when you try to stream from the other apps? Do you get an error message? What does it say?
Deleting the app doesn’t help it still says the same thing.
If your router isn’t blocking Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, then I don’t know what is blocking it.
Unless someone else chimes in with a good idea, I would suggest to contact an expert from the Apple Support staff for further assistance. Contact Apple for support and service (phone numbers) or start your support request online (chat/email/callback).
