Mac won't let canon print a4

When I updated to Monterey, everything went haywire with my printing. There is no drop down to change the paper size now. I have to go into computer settings to do so. Now if I change it to a4, my printing queue shows the a4 size as other. Well my canon is not having that. It doesn't register that size and now I have to use my work computer to print stuff. Help!

Hello marqatty,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities. From your post, there are issues with changing printing sizes. We'll explain and point you to the right place.

Some features when updating to macOS might require additional software or drivers. Check Canon's website for anything related to your printer model you might need: Printers | Canon USA

If you're still having issues, reach out to Canon directly for any additional steps or compatibility questions with macOS Monterey: Cannon U.S.A., Inc. | Reach US

Take care.
